“The major world cities existed only with the support of enormous and complex supply systems sustaining their increasingly fragile food supplies.  In 2009 two short but disastrous ecological collapses lead to a biological catastrophe that sees ninety eight percent of the world’s food supply fail. The world is plunged into an irrecoverable famine of unthinkable proportions; A situation that was to become absolutely destiny-altering to the human race.

Islands of security were quickly amassed within major cities, man-made oasis of talent and entitlement. The line on the map became a wire barricade and then a cement reinforced mega-wall.  But it also became a wall between two peoples; those kept out, ‘The Forsaken’ and those kept in, ‘The Unforgiven’.”

The game of Carnage is set in this dark future place. A ruined, chaotic place borne out of Man’s insatiable greed. A broken world fashioned by violence and a need for self-preservation.

Carnage is the human struggle for survival.
